yEd Live is the browser version of the powerful yEd desktop application. No more installer is needed to quickly and effectively create high-quality diagrams. Built upon our diagramming library yFiles for HTML, the automatic layout algorithms arrange even large data sets with just the press of a button.
Create, import, or share graphs on any device that operates a modern browser. Even graphs that have been generated with the yEd Graph Editor application can now be shared with colleagues and friends without them having to install the desktop application.
Online application but local data: yEd Live runs completely in your local browser and your graph is never sent to any server, unless you explicitly store it in a supported cloud service. See also our privacy policy.
Complete Data Privacy
We prioritize your privacy. yEd Live operates entirely on your local machine, ensuring that your data stays with you. At no point do we send your diagrams, designs, or any other diagram-data to our servers or any third party. This means you can create and edit diagrams with full confidence that your sensitive information remains secure and private.
Data only leaves your client when you explicitly use one of the integrated cloud storages or the AI support. In those cases, the necessary data is securely transferred to the service of your choice.
AI supported diagram creation and editing
The integrated ChatGPT features allows to create and edit graphs with natural language. This feature enhances the capabilities of yEd Live with unique actions which would otherwise not be possible or hard to achieve through the user interface. For example, creating a graph from just a description or batch editing of labels.
